The Beauty Rooms was established in 1997 and within a few months were awarded the Clarins Gold Salon status for our standard of excellence in treatments, sales and ambience of our salon. We have maintained our Gold Status ever since, making us one of the select few salons in the UK that offer the “Crème de la Crème” of Clarins services.

The owner Julie Pearce was also the first beauty therapist to win the high accolade of “Clarins Gold Salon Therapist of the Year” in 2001. After a mystery client received a beauty treatment from Julie she made it through to one of the 6 finalists who performed a treatment on the “Clarins Head Of Training” at the Clarins head office in Mayfair, London.

This was a real boost to the salon’s profile and we are very proud of this achievement. In 2005 we introduced MD Formulations and i.d. bareMinerals to the salon and once again became a “Salon of Excellence” within both of these companies.

Our philosophy at The Beauty Rooms has always been “to offer the very best in treatments and products”. The beauty industry is vast and varied and not everything lives up to its promises, so we at The Beauty Rooms only take on beauty treatments and cosmetics that we trust and believe in one hundred percent.

The Beauty Rooms are strong believers that training is a “key factor” in running a business, which needs to compete within the beauty industry. Julie Pearce is a qualified beauty therapist lecturer and has previously taught in two local colleges. She therefore undertakes all staff training at The Beauty Rooms which keeps all her beauty therapists up to date with new products and treatments, and all staff regularly attend many courses run by Clarins and other companies to ensure that all our clients receive the very best and latest treatments available.
